Shri Luxmi Narain Sanatan Dharam Mandir is one of the popular temples in Lajpat Nagar-III, New Delhi. Lajpat Nagar Colony, New Delhi came into existence by developing the land area south of India Gate beyond Dargah of Hazrat Nizammudin and the basti of Bhogal in the name of Great freedom fighter Punjab Keri Lela Lajpat Rai in order to rehabilitate the people who migrated as refugees from the erstwhile province of Punjab, Sind and NWF after the partition on India in August 1947, wherein Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha was originally established in the hutments of Block ‘E’, Krishna Market , Lajpat Nagar-I, and was registered by registrar of societies, Delhi under Registration No. S-466(1950-1951). The Puja of moving idols of Deities was performed by Pt. Maya Ram Pujari. A piece of land measuring 1200 Sq yards for the construction of Mandir building was obtained from the Govt. of India (L&DO;) in Lajpat Nagar-I which was subsequently got exchanged in Lajpat Nagar-II and in addition obtained the adjoining plot measuring 929 Sq yards for social & cultural purpose in order to serve the public of entire Lajput Nagar I, II, III, IV. The work for construction of the building was started by selfless, dedicated and sincere members of integrity under the Presidentship of Seth Kalu Ram Ahuja, an eminent personality of the time in the association of knowledgeable General Secretaries for 23 years till his demise in December 1973. They raised funds by arranging Religious Parbhat Pheries , Bhagawat Kathas and Sammelans etc. and built a big Aarti hall on the plot of 1200 sq. yds. accommodating three shrines therein on the design of the Birla mandir, New Delhi. The foundation stone of which was laid down on Sharwan Purnima (Rakshabandhan) of 1958 (29.08.1958) by his Majesty. And the Darshanik idols of Deities Bhagwan Shree Laxmi Narain Ji gifted by Sh. Mool Chand Bhatia & Company, Electrical Contractors, Asaf Ali Road, New Delhi were installed in the Central Shrine with great pomp and Show during march 1961 and the Puja was performed by Pt. Maya Ram Ji. The idols of the Deities as mentioned below were also installed in the other two shrines and on the wall of art hall:- Bhagawan Shree Shiv Shanker Ji gifted by Sh. Gokul Chand Khurana of Vinobha Puri, Lajpat Nagar-II , New Delhi. Bhagawati Mata Vaishnu Devi Ji. Sankat Mochan Shree Hanuman Ji gifted by Smt. & Sh. Panna Lal Seth of J- Block, Lajpat Nagar-III, New Delhi. Another Sat Sang Hall (Iqbal Devi Hall) was built with the donation of Sh. Des Raj Chhabra, Ring Road, Lajpat Nagar-IV, in which Pratima of Bhagwan Shri Krishna Ji was fixed on the wall by the Sabha but the platform was built by the donation of Smt. Kaushalya Devi of Block-L, Lajpat Nagar III, New Delhi. The religious functions were regularly celebrated in most befitting manner with the blessing of Tyagmurti Shree 108 swami Gurcharan Dass Ji Maharaj, Pradhan Sadhu Samaj, Kankhal, Haridwar along with Karmisht Parchar Mantry, Sh. Surrinder Nath Mehniratta. The Sabha continued celebrating the religious functions as usual thereafter under the Presidentship of Sh. Kanwal Kishore Taneja and fortunately in August 1975 & September 1977 functions were graced by His Majesty.In the presence of itehas Kesri Prof. Jagan Nath Gothi. The construction work remained in progress simultaneously as stated below and the Sabha flourished by leaps and bounds under the Presidentship of Sh. Kanwal Kishore Taneja in association of Genl. Secretary Sh. Ram Prakash Budhiraja till his demise in September, 1986 and thereafter till his own sudden demise in November, 1990, during which the following works successfully executed. The Arti Hall was extended by accommodating (a) Idols of deities Bhagwan Shree Ram Ji Darabar gifted by SH. Om Mehta son –in-law of President and (b) Idols of Deities Bhagwan Shri Krishna Ji and Radha Rani Ji. A big Hall ( Baraat Ghar) with the basement and four rooms with the attached baths on the plot measuring 929 Sq yds. The expenses of which were partly borne by Lala Goverdhan Lal Trehan of C- Block, Lajpat Nagar-III, New Delhi. A Charitable Dispensary under the name and style of “ Shree Sanatan Dharam Sabha(Regd) Goverdhan Lal Trehan Charitable Dispensary” on the same plot out of the donation mostly given by him. Three rooms on the first floor on the existing ones for the residence of Pt. Maya Ram Pujari donated by Panna Devi Bajoria Charitable trust, Kolkata. A Shivalya with gold coated Kalash on its Shikhar in the courtyard of Mandir premises installing therein the idols of Lord Shiva Parivar gifted by Sh. Narinder Anand of Defence Colony. A high Shikhar on the main gate beautifully decorated with the marble stone of Ganesha Ji in front of the Mandir building the cost of which was partly footed by Sh. R.R. Chadha, Vice President and marriage bureau was also set up. The nomination of Sh. R.R. Chadha was as President on the sudden demise of Sh. Kanwal Kishore Taneja in November, 1990. Patron Chuni Lal Chawla was unanimously nominated as working President. On 14/11/1999, Sh. Prem Prakash Magu and Sh. Balkishan Sharma were elected as President And Genl. Secretary Respectively, however the General Secretary Sh. Balkishan Sharma suddenly expired And Sh. R.B. Gupta was nominated , but he could not continue for long therefore Prem Prakash Magu, President, Handed over the charge to Sh. Sat Pal Harjai. After the death of Shri P.P. Maguji , the President ship goes to Shri. Prem Juneja & Secretary to Shri Y.P. Ashok, Joint Secretary to Shri Rakesh Khanna , Vice President to Shri Deepak Dhawan, Yogesh Taneja, Prachar Mantri to Shri Rajiv Kohli, Treasurer to Shri Ashok Puri , Cashier to Shyam Sabharwal.    

छतरपुर मंदिर का इतिहास – Chhatarpur Temple History छतरपुर मंदिर दक्षिण दिल्ली में आता है। यह मंदिर देवी कात्यायनी को समर्पित है। इस मंदिर से जुडी एक बहुत अद्भुत और रोचक कहानी है। जिसे जानने के बाद हर कोई आश्चर्यचकित हो जाता है। उस पौराणिक कहानी के अनुसार एक बार एक ऋषि ने दुर्गा देवी की कठोर तपस्या की थी। उस ऋषि का नाम कात्यायन ऋषि था। उस ऋषि की कठोर तपस्या को देखकर दुर्गा देवी प्रसन्न हुई और उस ऋषि के सामने प्रकट हुई। देवी ने उस ऋषि की तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर कहा की जो भी वरदान चाहते हो वो अवश्य मांगो। उसके बाद कात्यायन ऋषि ने देवी से कहा की आप मेरे घर में मेरी पुत्री बनकर जन्म लो। मुझे आपका पिता बनने की इच्छा है। ऋषि के यह शब्द सुनकर देवी प्रसन्न हुई और उसे इच्छा अनुरूप वरदान दे दिया। देवी ने फिर ऋषि के घर में कात्यायन पुत्री के रूप में जन्म लिया और तभी से देवी के उस अवतार को कात्यायनी देवी अवतार कहा जाता है। इसीलिए दिल्ली के इस मंदिर को कात्यायनी देवी का छतरपुर मंदिर कहा जाता है। यह मंदिर दिल्ली के दक्षिण पश्चिम के हिस्से में आता है और यह क़ुतुब मीनार से केवल 4 किमी की दुरी पर है। इस मंदिर की स्थापना बाबा संत नागपाल ने सन 1974 में की थी। उनकी मृत्यु 1998 में हो गयी। इस मंदिर परिसर में देवी कात्यायनी का मंदिर साल में दो बार नवरात्री के मौके पर ही खोला जाता है। क्यों की उस वक्त हजारों भक्त देवी के दर्शन हेतु यहापर बड़ी दुर से आते है। यहापर के एक कमरे में चांदी से बनी हुई खुरसिया और टेबल है तो दुसरे कमरे में जिसे शयन कक्ष भी कहा जाता है, उसमे बिस्तर, ड्रेसिंग टेबल और चांदी से नक्काशी किये हुए टेबल दिखाई देते है। यह मंदिर जब कोई बड़ा सत्संग आयोजित किया है तभी खोला जाता है जैसे की कोई धार्मिक कार्यक्रम और भजन का आयोजन किया जाता है। इस मंदिर के प्रवेश द्वार पर ही एक पुराना पेड़ है और इस पेड़ पर पवित्र धागे बांधे जाते है। अपनी इच्छाओं को पूरा करने के लिए लोग इस पेड़ को धागे और चुडिया बांधते है। लोग इस विश्वास के साथ इस पेड़ को धागे बांधते है की उनकी हर व्यक्त की गयी इच्छा पूरी हो जाए। नवरात्री उत्सव के दौरान हजारों भक्त देवी के दर्शन करने के लिए आते रहते है। कम शब्दों में कहा जाए तो भारत की धार्मिक विरासत को दर्शाने वाला छतरपुर का मंदिर काफी महत्वपूर्ण मंदिर है। यहाँ के शिव मंदिर, राम मंदिर, माँ कात्यायनी मंदिर, माँ महिषासुरमर्दिनी मंदिर, माँ अष्टभुजी मंदिर, झर्पीर मंदिर, मार्कंडेय मंदिर, बाबा की समाधी, नागेश्वर मंदिर, त्रिशूल, 101 फीट की हनुमान मूर्ति भक्तों के विशेष आकर्षण का मुख्य केंद्र है। इन मंदिरों के अलावा भी यहापर एक बहुत बड़ी ईमारत बनाई गयी है जिसमे हर दिन भंडारा का आयोजन किया जाता है। लगभग पुरे 24 घंटे यहापर कुछ ना कुछ धार्मिक प्रार्थनाये की जाती है। नवरात्री, महाशिवरात्रि और जन्माष्टमी के दौरान तो मंदिर में हजारों भक्तों की भीड़ लगी रहती है। इस अवसर पर लाखों भक्त देवी के दर्शन के लिए आते है, जिसकी वजह से यहाँ का नजारा काफी देखनेलायक होता है। नवरात्री के दिनों में यहापर लाखों लोगो को लंगर का प्रसाद बाटा जाता है, यह दृश्य देखनेवालो का अपनी आँखों पे विश्वास ही नहीं होता क्यों की यह दृश्य देखने में काफी सुन्दर होता है। छतरपुर मंदिर की वास्तुकला – Chhatarpur Mandir Architecture वास्तुकला की दृष्टि से छतरपुर का मंदिर एक अद्भुत मंदिर है क्यों की इस मंदिर के पत्थर कविताये दर्शाते है। 2005 में दिल्ली में अक्षरधाम मंदिर बनने से पहले यह छतरपुर मंदिर भारत का सबसे बड़ा और दुनिया का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा मंदिर हुआ करता था। इस मंदिर को पूरी तरह से संगेमरमर से बनाया गया था और मंदिर के सभी जगहों पर जाली से काम करवाया गया था। इस तरह की वास्तुकला को वेसारा वास्तुकला कहा जाता है। बहुत बड़े जमीन पर फैले हुए इस मंदिर की सारी इमारते विभिन्न तरह के वस्तुओ से बनी है। इस मंदिर के परिसर में कई सारे सुन्दर बाग और लॉन बनाये गए है जिन्हें देखकर किसी भी भक्त के मन को शांति मिलती है। मंदिर में किये गए नक्काशी का काम सच में काफी प्रशंसनीय है। मंदिर के बड़े आकार की वजह से यहाँ का परिसर काफी अच्छा दीखता है। देवी कात्यायनी की मूर्ति एक बडेसे से भवन में स्थापित की गयी है और इस भवन में प्रार्थना के हॉल से भी प्रवेश किया जा सकता है। सोने के मुलामे से बने हुई देवी कात्यायनी की मूर्ति हमेशा भव्य कपडे, सोने और सुन्दर फूलो के हार से अलंकृत की जाती है। नवरात्रि के दिनों में तो यहाँ पर हजारों भक्तों की भीड़ लगी रहती है। इतनी बड़ी भक्तों की भीड़ को नियंत्रित करने के लिए उन्हें साप की कतार में खड़ा किया जाता है। इन लम्बी लम्बी कतारों को नियंत्रित करने के लिए बहुत सारे सुरक्षा रक्षक तैनात किये जाते है। छतरपुर मंदिर तक कैसे पंहुचा जा सकता है? – How to Reach Chattarpur Mandir देश की राजधानी दिल्ली के इस छतरपुर मंदिर में पहुचने के लिए पुरे देश से सुविधा उपलब्ध है। सबसे करीबी स्टेशन: निजामुद्दीन रेलवे स्टेशन यहा का सबसे नजदीक हवाई अड्डा इंदिरा गांधी अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय हवाईअड्डा। दिल्ली के छतरपुर मंदिर की कई सारी विशेषताए है। इस मंदिर की सबसे खास बात यह है की इस मंदिर में कोई अगर एक बार प्रवेश कर ले तो फिर वो मंदिर में चारो ओर घूमता ही रह जाता है। उसे मालूम ही नहीं पड़ता की कहा से मंदिर की शुरुवात है और कहा पर मंदिर से बाहर निकलने का रास्ता है। क्यों की इस मंदिर को बनाया ही है कुछ इस तरीके से की किसी भी दिशा में जाने के बाद मंदिर का अंतिम छोर नजर ही नहीं आता। ऐसा लगता है की हर दिशा में अन्दर जाने का रास्ता दिखता है और बाहर जाने का कोई नामोनिशान मिलता ही नहीं। इस मंदिर की दूसरी विशेषता यह है की मंदिर के प्रवेशद्वार पर एक बहुत ही पुराना और काफी बड़ा पेड़ है। लोगो की ऐसी श्रद्धा है की इस पेड़ को धागा या चुडिया बांधने से भक्त की इच्छा अवश्य पूरी हो जाती है। इसीलिए इस पेड़ के चारो ओर धागे और चुडिया बंधी हुई नजर आती है।

Kali Mandir History Bengali settlement in Delhi down the timeline The first wave of Bengali settlers came when Calcutta and Delhi were first connected by train in 1864. With the shifting of capital to New Delhi in 1911, the shifting to government employees migrated to Delhi. Initially employees of central government departments like Post and Telegraph, Government of India Press, Accountant General of Central Revenues (AGCR) and Railways settled in Timarpur; thereafter in 1924, another phase of government housing came up near Gole Market for employees of the Secretariat. Overtime many employees after retirement settled in Karol Bagh and WEA, and later in South Delhi. Fallout of Partition of Bengal in 1947 In 1954, an association was formed for the refugees from the then East Bengal who were displaced from their homes during the Partition of India and the associated Partition of Bengal (1947). A large group of government officers hailing from the erstwhile East Pakisthan migrated to Delhi and lobbied for a residential colony. Leading roles were taken by Chandra Kumar Mukherjee, Subodh Gopal Basumallik, Bimal Bhusan Chakraborty, and the then Chief Election Commissioner, Shyamaprasanna Senverma. In the 1967, 218 acre land was assigned in a barren rocky area now known as Chittaranjan Park. Applicants were required to provide some documentation of their refugee status, and were required to be "already residing and gainfully employed in the capital"; based on this, 2147 people were given plots of land, initially on lease for 99 years, but subsequently converted into a freehold ownership. The EPDP ('East Pakisthan Displaced Persons' Association) registered in 1960 had key role in handling allotment and welfare of the habitation. It continues to be the Apex RWA in CR Park today. The original layout had the two-thousand odd plots, divided into eleven blocks A-K, along with a number of markets and cultural spaces. However, in the 1990s, 714 displaced families were accommodated among those who had not been able to meet the earlier deadline. This resulted in new blocks, called M, N, O, K-1, K-2, Pocket 40 (referred to as Navapalli), Pocket 52 (referred to as Dakhinpalli ) and Pocket-K. The main thoroughfare of the colony is Bipin Chandra Pal Marg.   Shri  Sanatan Dharam Mandir Established for the last 50 years. In the year 2007 the plot of 150gaj which the address was H-50, Rajouri Garden this property is hand over to Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha temple trusties. After this they plan to make more and more implement in a temple, now today it’s a big and huge area. In our temple all Lord Birthdays are celebrate like a festival like Shivratri, Janmashtmi, Ram Navmi, Holi and others. Every Saturday and Sunday Evening 4 to 6 pm Ladies Sangeet Ayogen.

JAI SHRI KRISHAN डेरा गाजी सभा, मालवीय नगर, नई दिल्ली पंजीकरण स. एस./10244/1979 डेरा गाजी खान सभा, मालवीय नगर, नई दिल्ली , दिल्ली सोसाइटी पंजीकरण अधिनियम के तहत साल 1979 मे पंजीकृत निकाय है इस निकाय के सदस्य मुख्य रूप से पंजाबी हिन्दू है जो मूल रूप से डेरा गाजी खान के है जो आजकल पश्चिमी पाकिस्तान मे है । हमारे पूर्वज डेरा गाजी खान से पलायन करके विभाजन के बाद दिल्ली और आसपास में आकर बसे है । सभा के रोजाना कार्यकलाप सभा के सदस्यो (डेरा गाजी खान के पंजाबी हिन्दू ) की चयनित बोड़ी द्वारा संचालित किए जाते है। बोड़ी के सदस्य मानक आधार पर कार्य करते है जिसकी वार्षिक आम सभा होती है डेरा गाजी खान सभा, मालवीय नगर द्वारा के-15 खिड़की एक्सटैन्शन, मालवीय नगर, नई दिल्ली मे भगवान श्री कृष्ण के छोटे मंदिर का नवीयन कार्य शुरू किया गया। इस समय यह मंदिर जर्जर हालत में था जिसमे भगवान श्री कृष्ण की एक मूर्ति थी। सभा द्वारा भक्तो की मदद से भगवान कृष्ण के दरबार का नवनीय कार्य शुरू किया गया तथा भगवान राम के दरबार को भी स्थापित किया गया । कुछ वर्षो के बाद मंदिर मे शिवालय (पार्वती माँ , गौरी माँ , भगवान गणेश तथा भगवान कार्तिकेय ) तथा दुर्गा माता दरबार का विस्तार किया गया। पिछले दशक में मंदिर मे भगवान हनुमान तथा लक्ष्मी नारायण दरवार मूर्तियो के साथ विस्तार किया गया । वर्ष 2009 मे श्री साई बाबा की भभ्य मूर्ति भी स्थापित की गई। उपरोक्त के अलावा मंदिर मे भूतल पर एक बड़ा वातानुकूलित हाल है जिसमे सभी समारोह के लिए स्टेज तथा साउंड वयवस्था है । भक्तो तथा चैरिटेबल सेवाओ के लिए कमरे बनाए गए है। भगवान की कृपा तथा भक्तो के सक्रिय सहयोग से दूसरे ताल पर योग, भंडारा आदि के लिए बड़े हाल का निर्माण किया गया है। इसमे एक किचन भी है जिसमे 500 भक्तो का भोजन बन सकता है। निर्धारित समय सारणी से मंदिर खुलता है। सभी पूजा रीति के अनुसार अनुभवी एव ज्ञानी वैदिक पंडितो द्वारा की जाती है। जन्माष्टमी, दीपावली, नवरात्रे, भगवतगीता कथा तथा रामायण पाठ सहित सभी मुख्य त्योहार सभा द्वारा आयोजित किए जाते है। सभा द्वारा वंचित एव गरीवो के लिए प्रत्येक गुरुवार साई बाबा लंगर आयोजित किया जाता है। सभा द्वारा चैरिटेबल तथा समाज सेवाए जैसे होमियोपैथी , आयुर्वेद , एक्यूपेचर , योग, दंत चिकित्सक, तथा फिजियोथेरिपी एवं पैथोलोजी, लैब (सैंपल कलेक्शन सेंटर) चलाई जाती है । सभा के निबंधन एवं शर्तो के अनुसार धार्मिक और सामाजिक कार्यो जैसे सत्संग  पगड़ी रस्म तथा विभिन्न चिकित्सा शिविर के लिए हाल तथा कमरे उपलब्ध हैं। हाल ही में सभा द्वारा ऑनलाइन विवाह सेवा केंद्र शुरू किया गया है जिसमे सभा के नियमो के अनुसार सुविधाए प्रदान की जाती है। भविष्य की योजनाओ में चैरिटेबल सेवाओ को बढ़ाना तथा वृद्ध एवं अशक्त लोगो के लिए लिफ्ट उपलव्ध करना है। इस मंदिर के रखरखाव तथा निर्माण की प्रक्रिया लगातार चलती रहेगी । भक्तो से निवेदन है कि किसी भी रूप (तन, मन तथा धन ) से मदद दें । !! जय श्री कृष्ण !!

It is my routine to visit a temple. I can check each and every part of temple taking pictures of God and other beautiful of locality in a temple.
