The school is being managed and controlled by S. D. Educational Trust (Regd.). It is a Senior Secondary School recognised by the Directorate of Education and affiliated to the C. B. S. E.
+2 level the school has all the three streams viz. Science, Commerce and
Humanities. Modern and latest teaching techniques, discipline through example
and encouragement, excellent facilities for cocurricular and sports activities
make the school an ideal platform for the overall growth of the children. It is
a co-educational English Medium School and it enables every student to
understand, appreciate and imbibe the best of our cultural and spiritual
heritage. At the +2 level the school has all the three streams - Science, Commerce and Humanities.
There is a congenial environment to felicitate learning. Our
students come from different walks of life and we provide a progressive
environment to enable learning. The student community is encouraged to assume
and shoulder responsibilities, thus developing initiative and drive. We have an
elaborate prefectorial and monitorial system to help the students in their
efforts to develop their personalities.
We have two Libraries: JUNIOR LIBRARY AND
SENIOR LIBRARY. Junior Library is for the classes I to V i.e. junior school and
Seniors Library is for the classes VI to XII i.e. senior school. There are a
total of 30000 books in both the libraries. There is collection of carefully
selected books, journals, newspapers and magazines keeping in view the needs

East Punjabi Bagh celebrated Christmas on 23 Dec. 2020 with the bright and
glowing faces of the children in the morning assembly. The presentation was
Christmassy and the various symbols marked the dawn aesthetically.
Christmas decoration was enrapturing and the anchors from Pre- School to Class
2 stole the hearts of the viewers. The rendition of the Christmas Carol and
Christmas Fun with games intoxicated the viewers and the Christmas beats too
transported the viewers to Bethlehem, the land associated with Jesus Christ.
The SD Pains celebrated Children’s Day virtually. It was the
gesture of love, generosity, compassion and devotion from the faculty and
management. The day was marked by praying and thanking God for the love he has
showered on human beings and all living creatures on earth.
The educators showered their love and blessings through
gestures and placards, though virtually. Music, dance, gaiety and fervor were
symbolic of ecstasy and sanctity. Such moments, though for a short duration,
have a tremendous impact on the young minds. These moments are a reminder to
them that they are being loved and cared for.
Diwali celebration was held in school premises on 13th November,2020. Hawan ceremony took place to
seek blessing of almighty. Gif were distributed after the bhajan’s were sung
and Diwali was also celebrated online on 11th November,2020
the students performed Luv Kush and celebrated the advert of Lord Ram.
